The word revolutionary is not a word that should be used loosely or a title that should be given without merit.
Revolutionary is a word that represents the rare leader that decides to stand up and fight on behalf of those outside of his or her family. They make the well-being and life improvement of others the responsibility of themselves.
A Revolutionary is more than a ‘good person’ or someone ‘involved in the community’ (e.g. the teacher, preacher, or politician that works with the kids and families in the hood); the difference is a revolutionary’s goal is systemic and institutional progress. In other words, a true revolutionary fights for changes and activities that will continue long after they are dead and gone.
The goal of revolutionary is to strengthen and build INSTITUTIONS that will result better outcomes for their people.
A successful Revolutionary must be an expert on acquiring and exercising power, be wise enough to implement successful strategies and brave enough to face the opposition.
